Sure, he may not have the vocal range he used to, but the guy still knows how to put on a show. At least he showed up on time, unlike some other aging rockers we could mention. And you gotta respect the fact that he doesn't use a backing track - it's all live, baby, even if it's a little rougher around the edges these days. No lip-syncing here, just good old-fashioned rock and roll chaos. Sure, it's not the Van Halen glory days, but I'll take it. The guy's still got more energy than most people half his age. A true showman to the end! Rock on Diamond Dave!!!

Wether it’s at the begining of the first song of a show on stage or an interview or a quick shot on David Letterman , Dave always brings that anxious energy to the front before he says word 1 . It’s like being a sailor on a battleship or a sub and you’ve been at sea for a week and nothing. The Dave shows up like I said at a show or interview and that inner voice of yours say the same thing the Captain B of your vessel says when another vessel is coming close on intercom “”ATTENTION ALL CREW MEMBERS BATTLE STATIONS.
